Primary School Curriculum (Years 2 - 6)

At Oxbridge Academy, the iPrimary Curriculum fosters engagement, enjoyment, and academic excellence, equipping students with the knowledge, skills, and confidence they need to thrive academically and beyond.

Ages 5 to 11

Our primary school curriculum is based on the Pearson iPrimary framework, which covers core subjects—English, Mathematics, and Science—alongside a rich foundation of subjects, including History, Geography, Art, Music, and PSHE. While based on the English National Curriculum, the iPrimary programme is designed with an international perspective, catering to students from diverse backgrounds, including those for whom English is an additional language.

Integrated Learning Strategy

Our curriculum integrates learning through six-week thematic topics, blending core subjects with foundation subjects. For example, Science, History, Geography, Art, Music, and PSHE are all taught in the context of engaging themes, while English, Mathematics, and Languages (Azerbaijani and Russian) are taught as standalone lessons.

iProgress Framework

Pearson iPrimary is part of iProgress, which spans iLowerSecondary, IGCSE, and International Advanced Level (IAL), ensuring a seamless transition from primary through secondary education. With its global outlook, this framework prepares students for success in leading universities worldwide and equips them to excel in an ever-changing global economy.
